To narrow your results page by books and eBooks (as opposed to articles), you must select the Book filter under Format. If available, this will give you both eBook and print book search results. If you are looking for a print book that is on the shelf in our library, you must choose the filter for "CSIR Information Services" under Held by Library.
To locate a book on the shelf, you must click on the title of the book from the results page. This is where you will find the shelving location and the Call Number or whether it is in use.
The Browse the Shelf feature allows MyDiscovery users to see which items owned by the library are next to a selected item in the library's collection, based on the item call numbers (just like browsing through a physical shelf)
