The CSIR Information Services (CSIRIS) strives to enable (rather than only support) CSIR researchers. Researchers conduct world-class and innovative research and it is then only fair that they have access to highly specialised information services that include seamless access to both electronic and print resources.
CSIRIS not only facilitates access to information. We play an active role disseminating open access information to a broad external market. ResearchSpace, the CSIR’s Institutional Repository, is linked to and harvested by a wide range of repository services and search engines. This in itself ensures that CSIR research is visible to the entire internet audience.
